Hamilton County Bar Association Executive Meeting Minutes

March 13, 2007

1. Meeting: Called to order at noon at Hamilton Restaurant.
2. Committees: It was discussed that some of the new members are interested in serving on committees. Board to work on getting them involved.
3. Social Committee: Third Thursday/Chili Cook-off scheduled for this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Elks. Jon Terry to get trophies, Jenna Stewart to get bowls, name tags, etc., Brad Banks to bring camera.
4. Judicial Advisory Committee: Rodney Sarcovics is heading up the committee and has attended the most recent judicial meeting.
5. Nominating Committee: Stephanie Gookins to continue to head up this committee..
6. HCBA Helper: Brad Banks to check with Myrna Watts regarding her interest in assisting the Board with its duties.
7. Photo Composite: Draft is reviewed by Board and will be brought to the Third Thursday to be reviewed by members.
8. Drawing of Courthouse: Doug Church is going to be the next ISBA President. He is going to try to get drawings done of every courthouse in the State. Would like the Bar. Association to assist in getting a rendering of the HC Courthouse. Board will look into finding an artist.
9. Baseball Outing: Board approves making the ticket to the Indians game half price this year for all members. Non-members will be welcome but will have to pay full price.
10. Next Meeting: April 16 at noon at Hamilton Restaurant.
