Executive Board Meeting Minutes

November 12, 2007

Board Members Present: Bob Becker, John Terry, Jerry Barr, Brad Banks

1. Executive Assistant: The Bar has acquired the services of Joni Carroll to assist with Bar Association business. Bob to talk to her about working on newsletter. Brad to get her a copy of the roster and the past application paperwork.
2. Membership renewals: John to work with Joni to get new applications for next year out to all current members and to place them in the court house as soon as possible. John also to get a copy of the new application to Judge Campbell to be added to the website.
3. Nominating Committee: Stephanie Gookins is heading up the nominating committee again this year. Bob to check with her regarding the status of the committee’s progress.
4. Expenditure approval: Board voted in favor of $250 gift a project being coordinated by Leslie Hendershaw.
5. Christmas Lunch: Schedule of events was approved as follows: 11:30 gathering and social time; 11:45 choir program; 12:00 lunch served; 12:40 speakers.
6. Chili Cookoff: Brad to follow up with Sean Bluementhal regarding planning of this event.
7. Annual Food Drive: Bob to arrange for box to be placed in entry of courthouse for food drive.
8. December meeting: December 10, 2007 at noon at the Hamilton.
