In an effort to make the pro bono referral process more efficient in Hamilton County, District 6 Access to Justice has created a Volunteer Enrollment Form that allows any attorney who is willing to volunteer for pro bono cases to provide them with their contact information and areas of interest.
If you are an attorney interested in volunteering, please fill out the form available through the button above and forward it to Sarah at District 6 Access to Justice.
Also, District 6 Access to Justice will be hosting a lunch at in the Court Administration Office at the Hamilton County Courthouse on Tuesday, May 24th at 12:00 to present applications that their office has received that are ready for placement with a volunteer attorney. Any attorney interested in taking a case is invited to attend. Please RSVP to Sarah if you plan to attend.
Changes have been recommended to Local Rule 87 to the Local Rules of the United State District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Comments concerning the proposed amendment are welcome. Comments must be submitted via email or in writing on or before June 12, 2016.
