The Carmel City Court will commence voluntary e-filing on August 7, 2017, with mandatory e-filing starting October 6, 2017. These are the dates established by the State Court Administrator’s Office. The court has been positioned and equipped to begin e-filing for some time now, but was put in line to be activated in August.
Applications are now being accepted for the position of judge of the Hamilton Superior Court No. 5. Anyone interested in seeking appointment to Judge Sturtevant’s court upon his retirement from the bench should go to the following web site www.in.gov/gov and click on “Gubernatorial Appointments” and then “Judicial Appointments” for information and an application. The deadline for submissions is 5 PM on July 28, 2017.
