Dear Bar Members:
Beginning April 18, 2016, the Hamilton County Courts and the Hamilton County Clerk will be piloting a new notification process that utilizes email to provide you notices from the Court and to serve orders entered by the Courts. This process id called E-Notification or E-Notice.
This process will send email notice to all attorneys who have provided an email address to the Court and all unrepresented parties for whom we have an email address. This notice is sent directly from our case management system and will use the email in our case management system. For attorneys, this is currently the email you place on your most recent appearance filed. You have one email address that can be used by Odyssey Case Management System statewide.
The Email you receive is generated by our system at 1:00 AM the morning following the day of entry on the Case Management System. If an order was entered that is associated with the notification, the email you receive will include a link to digital image of that order.
The Courts and Clerk will continue to provide conventional notice for a period of time, so for a while you will receive double notification as we implement this process. When fully implemented virtually all notices of hearings, notices of CCS entries and service of all orders will be done only by E-Notice. While we anticipate a smooth transition, please be patient. If there are some anomalies, or if you have any problems associated with E-Notice please contact Judge Hughes at William.firstname.lastname@example.org or Chief Deputy Clerk, Debbie Lepere at Debbie.email@example.com.
This transition will enable us to continue to provide excellent notification services at a reduced cost. Thank you for joining with use as we move forward to make the Courts more accessible to you and your clients.
William J. Hughes, Judge for the Hamilton Superior Court 3
