Effective immediately there is a new functionality on Mycase.in.gov which you will want to know about. For attorneys who register on Mycase.in.gov, “public” digital documents on most non-confidential case types are now available for review, downloading and printing. This applies for all case types where documents are posted on line and applies to all documents, both motions and orders what are filed as “public” documents in all case types previously available on Mycase.in.gov. Documents filed or entered as “confidential” documents are still not available. This is available for Odyssey Case Management Counties only.
To access this feature please do the following:
If you follow this procedure, and the case you are searching is available on mycase.in.gov and pending in an Odyssey County or Jurisdiction where documents are digitally maintained and the document at issue is a “public” document, you will see an icon beside the CCS entry related to the filing or entry of that document. Selecting this Icon will down load a .pdf copy of the document which can be viewed, printed or stored.
This is a further step in the implementation of the progressive plan of the Indiana Supreme Court to make court documents available on line. This level of access is currently available only to Indiana Registered Attorneys. Stay tuned for additional access to attorneys for confidential documents on cases where you as an attorney are counsel of record, which is projected to be available later this fall.
