June 21, 2018 - Protection Orders 101
Protection Orders 101: Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions? How can my client obtain a protection order? What is the Protection Order Registry? Why did my client’s case get transferred to another court? What’s the rush (why is it so hard to get a continuance)? When a case is transferred to another court what happens to the protection order? Why was my client arrested for violation of a protection order when he/she was only doing what the parties agreed in their preliminary order? What is the Victim Advocate Software and how can I access it? Why can’t I E-file in a protection order action?
Judge William Hughes will have answers to these questions and others at the upcoming CLE, Protection Orders 101. This CLE Seminar is good for one (1) hour of (pending) general CLE credit and is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM. The CLE is $25.00 for members, and lunch is included. The CLE will be located in the Jury Assembly Room at the Hamilton County Judicial Center.
