GOLF OUTING

The 2007 HCBA Judges & Lawyers Golf at Fox Prairie Golf Course was a great success. Over 45 golfers participated and enjoyed the camaraderie. The award winners were as follows:

First Place: Judge Paul Felix, Bruce

Boje, Eric Douthit, and John Proffitt

Second Place: Mark Merkle, Harry Sauce, Sheila Marshall and

Third Place: Andy Barker, Karl Hadley, Joel Hand and Neal Ziliak

Longest Drive (Men): Blake Shelby

Longest Drive (Women): Judge Judy Proffitt

Closest to the Pin (Men): Gordon Byers

Closest to the Pin (Women): Sheila Marshall

The last place team was:  Brad Banks, Eric

Blankenship, Matt Gernand and Ben Stevenson at 3 over par.  Those prosecuters aren't the best golfers but they sure are honest.

MOCK TRIAL (Continued)

We had the first meeting with the school advisors in August and the participants this year are HSE, Carmel, Noblesville, Hamilton Heights and new participants--Guerin, Tipton, and Lapel Schools.

Anyone with a connection to Sheridan schools is encouraged to contact Stephenie as we didn't get a response from them and would like to know if Sheridan is interested in participating.

Stephenie will be contacting the volunteers directly in the future to set up an informational meeting.  Competition will begin in late January.
